Claire Hewitt, B.Sc.
Claire acquired a degree in criminology at the University of Northumbria.
She joined Aston Clark in 2001, qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and was made
Partner in 2009. She previously worked for a large criminal practice in Bath.
Claire specialises in crime. She is a police station and court duty solicitor and regularly
attends at police stations and magistrates courts across the London area.
Claire has experience in a wide variety of criminal cases, ranging from theft
and road traffic offences to extremely serious cases involving the large scale importation
of drugs into the United Kingdom. She has recently managed a multi-defendant trial of
persons accused of involvement in serious organized crime.
