Zaki Hashmi - BA (Oxon)
Zaki attended Brasenose College, Oxford University where he acquired a degree
in Modern History. He worked in publishing before entering the legal profession
in 1993. He trained at Boodle Hatfield in Mayfair before joining Aston Clark in 1997.
He became a partner in 1998.
Zaki is the head of the Criminal Department. He is a police station and court duty solicitor
with Higher Rights of Audience in criminal matters.
He has been responsible for the conduct of extremely serious cases including murder, serious fraud,
large scale drugs importation, money laundering and terrorism. He also deals with private
client criminal cases, ranging from speeding and drink driving offences to white
collar crime.
